Johan Stahl narrates a darkly humorous story of mercy and vengeance, intertwined with talking crabs and a touch of 80s nostalgia.
In the movie, a grocery shopper possesses telepathic communication skills with a crab at the fish counter. The shopper liberates the trembling crustacean from its icy confinement, leading to the crab seek brutal revenge on the fishmonger.
As said in Shots, Johan remarks “We tested different crabs for each setup, and funnily enough, it was always the same six-legged hero delivering what we were looking for,” [...] “He was a natural. It was an emotional moment in the end, though, releasing him back into the sea at a nearby harbour.”
